SÖMARA wasn’t a brand I wanted to create After 16 + years of working closely with women I felt called to steward spaces that cultivate a kind of communal, medicinal movement for us. Not in the allopathic sense; but in something much older… more intuitive. The kind of knowing we feel in our bodies and recognize as something ancestral. Spaces where women can slow down, come back into themselves and connect with one another Because there is a kind of meaning… and medicine in that that we don’t find anywhere else This work has been shaped over time through life, first through paying attention, through moving through grief, burnout, and rebuilding through learning how to be with myself differently and also through years of study not in one place, or one path but across different traditions, teachings, and practices. I’ve spent the majority of my life studying world religions, esoteric systems, and the deeper layers of human experience but over the past few years, that shifted from studying… to embodying through practices like somatics and nervous system regulation the study of cymatics through sound and frequency energetic medicines like Reiki I and II and completing my yoga teacher training in the south Pacific of Mexico But more than anything this work is something I’ve had to live to understand and embody not just in theory, but in daily self-devotion through my own practice That’s what shapes how I hold this space If something in you is already responding to this, trust that pull to lead you forward Here are a few ways to step into this work.
